Design the piece that defines a New Era of pearl jewelry. Timeless Pearl invites jewelry designers from around the world to reimagine pearl jewelry for a new generation.

NEW ERA What should pearl jewelry look like for the next generation? New Era challenges designers to move beyond traditional interpretations of pearl jewelry and create a piece that feels contemporary, distinctive, wearable and commercially relevant. The pearl should not simply be added as decoration — it should play a meaningful role in the identity, proportion, movement, structure or visual language of the design. DESIGN REQUIREMENTS Each design must feature at least one cultured pearl between 8mm and 12mm. The core design must be adaptable into both a sterling silver edition and a gold edition while maintaining the same overall design identity. Accent stones may include diamonds or cubic zirconia (CZ). The silver and gold editions do not need to be technically identical. Reasonable adjustments to metal thickness, construction, setting methods or materials may be made to ensure durability, wearability and production feasibility while preserving the designer’s original concept. Designers are encouraged to focus on intelligent use of materials, strong design identity and practical production rather than excessive metal weight or unnecessary complexity. As a general commercial guideline, designs should be capable of supporting an anticipated presale positioning of approximately US$200–450 for the sterling silver edition and US$850–1,500 for the gold edition. These ranges are guidelines only; final pricing will be determined by Timeless Pearl based on pearl selection, metal weight, gemstones, production requirements and market positioning. All entries must be original work and must not copy or substantially imitate an existing commercial jewelry design. Submitted designs should not have been previously commercially produced or offered for sale as part of an existing collection. Selected designs will enter a one-week public voting period in early October. The final winner will be determined by 50% public voting and 50% professional evaluation, considering originality, pearl integration, wearability, material efficiency, production feasibility and commercial potential. The winning design will be produced and promoted as an official Timeless Pearl × Designer collaboration. The designer will receive a royalty equal to 10% of Net Sales of the winning collaboration. “Net Sales” means actual product revenue received after customer discounts, excluding sales tax, shipping charges, refunds, returns, cancelled orders and chargebacks. Manufacturing, material, packaging, photography, marketing and normal operating expenses will not be deducted when calculating the designer’s 10% royalty. The designer retains copyright and ownership of the original creative design. Timeless Pearl may make reasonable technical modifications in consultation with the designer for production, durability, wearability or quality control. Commercial production rights, exclusivity period and any future extensions of the design will be defined in a separate agreement with the winning designer before production begins.
